Triclopyr 4E Herbicide 2.5 Gal.

Triclopyr 4 Herbicide is the same as Garlon 4 Herbicide and is designed to control mesquite, sumac, tallow, poison oak, cactus, and other heavy brush. It can also be used basal treatment to kill large trees. Triclopyr 4E provides excellent selective control of of brush and broadleaf weeds without damaging grasses.

For Use In

Triclopyr 4 can be used similar to Garlon 4 to control brush and trees in pastures rangelands right of ways lawns golf courses sod farms industrial properties and ditches

Application

For large scale applications in pastures and fields use Triclopyr 4 the same way as Garlon 4. Apply at a rate of 64oz per acre.

For spot applications of triclopyr with a hand pump sprayer mix 3.2oz of Triclopyr per gallon of adjuvant. For larger brush, mix 6.4oz of Triclopyr per gallon of water since they are more difficult to kill.

For basal treatments to kill large trees mix 1 gallon of triclopyr with 1 gallon of oil. Apply directly to the bark of the tree to thoroughly wet the surface. Drilling into the tree and pouring the mixture in will speed the process. For stump treatments to prevent resprouting spray oil and triclopyr mixture over the exposed wood.

Do not apply Triclopyr 4EC to exposed roots of desirable trees and shrubs. Do not apply to newly seeded grasses.

Coverage Area

1 Gallon of Triclopyr 4 will cover 2 acres.

Time to Kill

Triclopyr can take up to 14 days to kill vegetation. Reapplications may be necessary at 21 day intervals to control heavy brush.

Mix Rate

The mix rate for triclopyr is 3.2oz to 6.4oz per gallon. Triclopyr is more effective if mixed with a bark penetrent like methylated seed oil.
